Green leopard.

Hellu!
I guess I got caught in some kind of leopard-mania. It's just so easy and fun! I think I know one person at least that will like this version ;)

This is two coats of Sally Hansen - Grass Slipper (love it, but not the stainage lol), spots with China Glaze - Starboard and outlines with A England - Camelot. + SV. (heard this lot before? ;)

I should make leopard manis all winter. 8)

Day of DIY # 66. Wire bowl.

Hellu!
Here's my second wire craft :)

I had this picture in my head of a little basket and just went ahead with that.

It's cool to see it grow into something.

Ta-dah!

A functional basket.

From thought to finished product. Booyah!

Also pretty cool that it only took me 2 hours to make. I can see myself making a lot of these. Perhaps I'll even decorate the next one :)

Changes.

Hellu!
Sometimes you just can't make up your mind... Unless you try different solutions.

I went from this.

To this.

And finally into this.

Purple leopard.

Hellu!
Since I made an all blue leopard I carried on the rainbow and made a purple one too.

The base is two coats of China Glaze - Light As Air. The spots are Gabrini - M110. And outlines with A England - Camelot (as usual). Plus SV.

And sun!

Next up is probably a yellow + orange. Or perhaps orange + red. We shall see!

One of those weekends.

Hellu!
Life. Pics.

Friday and pride parade and wondering why street crossings can't look like this all the time.

Saturday and medieval market with horses.

Buying puuurdy red linen (impossible to photograph tho) and getting it wrapped in wax paper.

Two favorites in one pic.

Sunday and shopping craft supplies with the bf. Elephant wire, round wire x 3, tools.

Great weekend despite my wryneck (that's finally returning to normal woop woop!) :) Too bad I got a cold instead -.-

Day of DIY # 65. First wires.

Hellu!
This post has been a long time coming. I kinda thought I had done it already but hey no oops. So I took this work shop in january this year. And then it took me forever finishing my piece... Heh. These pics were taken (by the bf) in june and now 3 months later here's the post lol.

The work shop was in wire crafts (luffarslöjd, much cooler in swedish) and we made candle holders.

There's something really appealing with luffarslöjd. It can be really pretty or rugged or maybe both. Just look at all these cool pics!

I'm really proud of my piece :)

And it was so much fun that I finally pulled myself together and bought supplies last weekend so I can make more stuff. I've already finished another item :)

Have you tried making anything with wire?
