Best of.

Hellu!
I thought it'd be fun to make a post with my favorite manis since I made one with my favorite polishes. It will involve quite a bit of tape... ;) Oh and they're not in order or anything. You'll recognise some of them from my header since I put my favs there. But big pics is always nice huh? :] I'll include links to the original posts.

Ofc the radioactive one makes the list. I still think this is one of the coolest things I've done.

And part two.

One for the icelandic part of me.

A super villainy one with rhinestones and striping tape.

A reminder that free handing is possible.

And ofc this post needs a marble and some rainbows!

I hope you liked this post! It's fun to go back and look at what you've made in the past to get inspired :)

A little early for the holiday spirit?

Hellu!
I made some christmassy nails, totally by accident. But they were pretty anyways so :)

This is two coats of Sinful Colors - Tanji Orange and then I added two coats of Barielle - Elle's Spell (altho you can't see it in the pics..) and a coat of Barry M - Nail Effects 201 (the gold crackle) on ring and thumb. + SV you know. You just have to imagine the flakies! ;P

I plan to make a lot of holiday manis this year. I'm totally getting into the christmas spirit!

Neon + crackle.

Hellu!
I like to use black crackle with bright colors.

One coat of Barry M - Nail Effects 311 over Color Club - Koo-Koo Cachoo + SV.

I hope you all had a nice Midsommar-weekend. Unfortunately I got a bit of a cold so I stayed home. But at least I had an extra day off to get better.

Trying something new.

Hellu!
I got some Barry Ms as a gift from London about a week ago and thought it'd be nice to have them all in one post :) G, this one's for you!

First up is two coats of Barry M - Cyan Blue + Seche Vite. It was easy to apply and dried pretty fast :) Also, it's a really happy and nice color!

Then I applied one coat of Barry M - Nail Effects 321 and another coat of SV. It's a shimmery golden crackle. This turned out to be quite the swedish mani lol. I think a gold crackle will be nice over lots of colors so I'm glad I now have one :)

Two coats of Barry M - Red Glitter + a coat of regular top coat. It's red glitter (lots of it!) in a clear base. It's a shame there wasn't any sun when I had this one because it was really sparkly!

Over that I added Barry M - Nail Effects 311 + another coat of regular top coat. I loved this look! It reminded me of lavas and dinosaurs lol. This crackle has my favorite pattern yet. The pieces turned out really small which I liked.

Rawr!

There you have it, a mini Barry M review. It seems like a really nice brand from the ones I've tried now :)

Boom-crack-a-lack.

Hellu!
I wanted to spice my mani up on the second day. You know, the usual feeling lol.

I added one coat of Isadora - Black Tag over Color Club - Hot Like Lava + SV. The crackle shrank the other polish as well and left some bald spots -.- Maybe because there was only one coat? I dunno.

I really liked this combo. I may have to get another black crackle since I only have this small bottle. And it's the crackle I've used the most.

Watch out! These nails are radioactive.

Hellu!
Yesterday I got this idea in my head and just had to try it. And it actually came out really good :) I just hope they don't notice it all too much at work lol. It's kind of in your face... :P

Radioactive nails!

I started out with 4 coats of China Glaze - Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. And it was still streaky! Booh! Guess I won't be using that one very often... But I should try it over a white base sometime at least. Then I put on some tape and added China Glaze - Liquid Leather. Two dots in the middle with the yellow (should've used a more opaque yellow for this... And then a black dot. SV!

The left hand took pretty long to do so I wanted something more simple on mah right hand that would still match the other one (and also since the yellow was streeeaaaaky). So I added Isadora - Black Tag and some SV. Kind of loving this look :)

Yey!

And with this colorful and loud mani I'll celebrate the International Women's Day :) Keep on fighting ladies.

Holo crack-a-lack.

Hellu!
For some reason I covered the holo with some crackle. Sometimes you should leave nice things alone. But this looks pretty nice too :P Also I got it in my head to try and watermark (?) my pics since I felt I had been reading about people stealing stuff a lot recently. This blog isn't big but I thought I'd try it anyways. It doesn't really affect my designs tbh.

Depend - 5002 over Milani - Hi-Res + SV.

This is my favorite crackle because it has shimmer. It adds a lot of depth to it I think :)

Totally bothered by the little text in the pics? I hope not ;)

Bambi.

Hellu!
Still sick but here's some polish anyways.

One (woho) coat of H&M - On Ice. I like. It's a really light pastelly blue.

Lookit, the adorable bottle :) Too bad I didn't get my hands on the other one.

Then I thought "hey, I don't play with my crackles enough. I have 5 of 'em and 5 fingers on this hand. Why not try 'em all?" So I did. Which was a fail since I forgot I own 6 crackles lol. But the one I forgot is a white one so it wouldn't have been much fun anyways. From left to right: Isadora - Black Tag, Subway Green, Masterpiece Pink, Depend - 5010 & 5002. And a coat of TC on top. Sorry the photo is out of focus... Anyways, I liked this mani, twas fun!

Now heal me tea!

Crack-a-lack.

Hellu!
What do you do when you removed your polish the night before and don't have much time to paint them in the morning? Well I used H&Ms U Must Have This since it dries fast. It would have been better with two coats but I wanted something even more fast drying. Enter crackle! This mani came off when I came home so it lived for about 5 hours :P Yes, it wasn't all that.

At least there was some sun :>

The crackle is Isadora - Subway Green. I think it's hard to apply it evenly, and also there was some dried up polish around the opening that wanted to get stuck on my nails :p SV would've been nice if I had had more time. Maybe next time!

U Must Crack This

Here's what I did with the pretty blue polish! Cracked it! With Depend Cracked Effect 5002. I really really reeeaaally liked this mani :)

I even wore matching stufs when I went down to fetch my new China Glazes hoho.
The ring I made with CG Frostbite and Depend 54.
The earring is from H&M (modified since I'm allergic to everything but gold).

I've also been baking bread today :) Yummers!

And the last pic I promise.. Today I finished with the Dark Tower-series by Stephen King. Aaah, what shall I do now?? I started with the first book 3 or 4 years ago and I've been reading them since with some pauses and a lot of other books in between. So it feels a bit weird not to have another one to read! Luckily my sister lent me Under the Dome and The Dark Half so I should be okay for a while I guess. Darn you Stephen King for writing such amazing books!

My sister made the bookmark. Yes they know I love rainbows.. :) And also I just realized the print on the covers matches the book cover. /giggle
