The other day I painted my nails with a polish I haven't used in a long time. I got it from my sister a couple of years ago.

One (!) coat of Viva La Diva - 2148.

It was a little bit thick but application was totally okay. And it's really nice with one coaters :) Not much else to say about this one! :P

Here's my very first Sinful Colors. I ordered it from Cherry Culture a couple of weeks ago.

Three coats of Tanji Orange. Application was nice and easy.

I actually did the third coat the day after before taking the photos since there were some wrinkles and tip wear. It looked okay at two coats. A pretty color :)

What are your favorite polishes? As you might have guessed I really like red shimmers lol.

The other day I thought I should use my Color Club rainbows and do something rainbowy. I didn't really succeed in the rainbowy stuff but it turned out pretty fun at least.

I started with two coats of Almost Famous, a yellow creme. I think it would be great for summer.

I understand why it's only almost famous.. The formula made me a bit sad. But I guess that's the case with yellows. Btw, anyone know a good shimmery yellow?

Then I just went nuts with my breath and some straws ;P The bf liked this look. I agree, it looks pretty cool :)

I also got my striping tapes this day and had to try 'em on! It was pretty fun :) Altho I don't really like the color scheme, it reminds me of 80's sports wear lol. And also the blue (index) didn't look blue at all over the yellow.

The colors are:

Red - I don't really know since the label was missing :P

Green - Not Just For Kelly
Purple - Disco Dress
Blue - Chelsea Girl
Orange - Koo-Koo Cachoo

Lots of hair.

As I mentioned in my previous post when I study for exams I feel the need to do a lot of other stuff. When you're taking a break you might as well do something useful lol. Besides doing a mani in 3 steps I also did 3 hairstyles on myself lol. It's always good to learn some new things right? ;)

First I did a french braid all the way across my head.

Then I tried doing a crown braid, which wasn't as hard as I had thought :)

 

And then I did a french braid on both sides and connected them into one braid on the right side of my head. This was a good style for sleeping in and getting curly hair as well 8)

Today I'm going to another city for a dance workshop. I'm a bit nervous but I think it will be fun and I hope I'll learn a lot! :) Toodels!

Taping and sponging.

Of course I couldn't leave that pretty blue alone. I felt like sponging, but also like taping. So I combined the two!

Taped it off not (too carefully :P) and sponged on H&M - 70s Boho and China Glaze - Lighthouse.

Blue and gold is a nice combo I think :)

Buuut... This was a day of studying so I "had" to add something else to it lol.

I used a different shape of tape for this second layer and sponged on some CG - Wagon Trail.

And after a coat of SV I left it alone ;) I really liked this look. I should do it again in some other colors :)

Blue and minty.

Friday! Yey! And my exam is over, for this time.. It didn't go that well. Ah well. It's still friday ;)

This is two coats of H&M - Peppermint Fushion. A nice muted, kind of washed out, light blue with a little bit of shimmer in it.

A pretty color! I also shaped my nails a bit more. I like it :) Can't be lazy aaall the time ;P

The transformation of Liquid Leather.

I'm taking a study break to post some naiiiilz 8) Aaah, my exam is tomorrow booh. Anyways, this mani started out like this (and stayed on for 4 days, gasp!):

Two coats of China Glaze - Liquid Leather.

There were some wrinkles involved so the next day I added one coat of Kicks - Candy Gal since it's duochromey and nice 8) Purplix!

And then the day after that I felt like playing with tape and added China Glaze - Cherish.

A couple of hours later I added another layer of tape and the sun was out :O

The pink is Color Club - Flamboyant and what looks green is CG - Lighthouse. I liked the ones with Flamboyant better but sometimes you have to try stuff :P Some SV on top now too.

Here are all the polishes used (except base and top coat). I thought they looked cute together :) The tips had 7 layers of polish on them lol.
