Another lately.

Just a quick photo post.

Hanging out in people's gardens even more. Here at my (almost) in laws :p

Epic veggie bbq! We also bbqed pineapple for dessert. Eh, yum!!

Tea at mom's place. My family go to lengths for their cats I tells ya!

This will most likely be my last post from Sweden for a month as I am going to Iceland tomorrow!!
There will be some travelly updates here.
I'm so excited for this trip :) I'm going to take an icelandic course and also meet my relatives. Haven't been to Iceland since I was 4 years old. It's gonna be legen-wait for it-dary! ;)

As a graduation gift G gave me money (and a super me rainbowy necklace woop woop!) and I turned them into a camera. Thanks G! Here are some pics I've taken with it the past week.

Making portabello burgers with the bf. He made them mostly.. But I sure ate 'em! ;)

Finally opened the Jeeves (like Pimms) we bought in Scotland last year. Tastes like summer :)

First day at the beach. A bit windy so I didn't go in the water.

Hanging out with my pal a.k.a mom. The purple knit is her two end knitting. Educate yo'self! I haven't been very craftsy at all lately but I managed a couple of knits and purls at least.

Hanging out with friends and bbq-ing. Got my hair fish tail braided.

This. Was. Good.

It's fun having a new camera :) I look forward to using it in Iceland. Thanks again G!

Summer nails.

I had the weekend off, and with my work schedule that was almost 4 days off. I painted my nails.. once. But hey, it's something at least! I've been neglecting my blog a lot. I wish it was because I've been super busy doing stuff but mostly it's been work or being tired after work.. It'll get better when I go to Iceland :)

It's kind of weird picking what you wanna wear after two weeks of naked nails. Pressure! I went for holo since it was sunny :)

The insanely holo pink is three coats of Make Up Store - Britta (super pretty and with a name that is special to me :)) and on the thumb is also A England - Ascalon. The ring finger is two-three coats of Milani - Digital and the darker pink is China Glaze - 108 Degrees.

In the shade. Striping tape in my <3

Also, I can't wait to get happier cuticles! :p

Day of DIY # 49. Tablet weaving take 2.

Here's my contribution to this weeks Husmorsskolans Syförening. I just love yarn, so much. You can do so many things with it. When you're done knitting, crocheting or embroidering there is still so much left to do. Like tablet weaving. This is my second project in that area. (Here's the first.) Here's some (a lot) pics!

Picking my pattern.

I chose purple, brown and blue. Gotta keep 'em guessing y'know ;) The yarn is wool from Klippans Yllefabrik.

Weaving. With some playing cards. HOW COOL IS THAT!?!? Very.

Pretty neat watching the ribbon/sash/whatever you wanna call it grow as you're turning the playing cards :)

I wasn't planning on making a super long ribbon but that's what I did lol. 190 cm oops :)

It's a bit crooked and uneven but that the heck. The bf suggested making a ribbon for the camera out of it so that's what we'll do :)

I'm guessing this may come as a surprise to some people but I've been thinking about making a rainbow ribbon as well. I know, totally weird right!? ;)
Also, I'm now a proud aunt to two little kiddos! Rejoice!

...and the dress.

Sister L wanted to see the entire dress from my previous post. The pics came out a bit blurry but hey whatevs :p

I think it's from Indiska. Also woho I got to use my new shoes for the first time. Bought them at the end of last summer lol.

And a blurry close up of my bracelet. It's really cool. Knitted by my mom, in metal. Woah.

...and nails to match.

It's been a while... Well here are some nails!

I made this mani to match the dress I wore for the wedding we attended this past weekend.

It's the same technique as this one. The base is one coat of H&M - U Must Have This. Probably should've done two coats to avoid the little bald spots but I didn't have that much time. The dark blue is my trusted nail arty polish China Glaze - First Mate. Used in at least 7 nail arts on this blog. Woop woop! I added a yellow rhinestone before I slapped on some SV. Done!

And a pic to show you how well this matched my dress. Like really well I would say! My mom bought this dress and it shrunk a bit when she washed it = free dress for me! It's a good thing for me my mom has such great taste :)

Alas, now my nails are naked again. And so shall they remain until next week when I have the entire weekend off, including friday! Bring on the nail polish!
