New year's eve nails.

Här kommer sista manikyren från 2014, mina nyårsnaglar. Kanske också den mest genomarbetade manikyren det året :p Och två år senare är jag fortfarande ledsen över att A England inte skeppar utomlands. Buuuuu!

Ofokuserad progressbild. Började med två lager Barry M - Pink Multi Glitter. Fick ta ett lager överlack också för att få striping tapen att fästa. Det överdrivet snygga gröna är såklart A England - Saint George. (som jag faktiskt använt ett nyår till men det blev inga foton då)

Eftersom det var nyår var jag ju tvungen att he på mer glitter! China Glaze - Fairy Dust + Atlantis och A England - Merlin. Plus en liten sten och Seche Vite top coat. Svårt att fånga blinget så ni får väl lita på att detta var en redigt snygg manikyr!

My new years eve mani! Two coats of Barry M - Pink Multi Glitter, striping tape and A England - Saint George. I feel a NYE mani needs sparkle so I added some glitter to the tips with China Glaze - Fairy Dust and Atlantis + A England - Merlin. Rhinestone in the middle and some Seche Vite and done!

Green leopard.

I guess I got caught in some kind of leopard-mania. It's just so easy and fun! I think I know one person at least that will like this version ;)

This is two coats of Sally Hansen - Grass Slipper (love it, but not the stainage lol), spots with China Glaze - Starboard and outlines with A England - Camelot. + SV. (heard this lot before? ;)

I should make leopard manis all winter. 8)

Finally some striping tape.

I haven't used striping tape in a while. Haven't used much at all nail arty the last couple of months but all of that is about to change! ;) Here's the first nail art of 2014!

 This is one coat of A England - Dragon (which is so pretty!) and striping tape + A England - Bridal Veil. And a coat of SV to smooth it all out.

If someone asked me why 75% (probably) of my nail arts include A England I could just show them this pic.

Let's see if I still remember how to do this... :P Here's a swatch and some easy peasy nail art!

 This is two coats of No 7 - Cruising. Easy application and drying time was pretty fast. I like the brush, made the polishing easy. I got this polish as a gift from G, first from this brand :) It's a lot darker IRL tho, these kinds of shades are hard to photograph...

Then I was like "wazzup A England??" and added hole reinforcers and Bridal Veil.

I'm a bit rusty at this non-scenic-awesome-icelandic-nature-photographing. I'll have to practise with more nails soon!

I told you when I make a design I like I have to try it in all colors ;)

This is two coats of Sally Hansen - Grass Slipper and the darker is China Glaze - Starboard + SV. These two are probably my favorite green polishes. At least if you don't count the A England ones.

I used the same technique as the last one.

I think red is next up. Or blue... And then all the non monochrome combinations... :p

Valborg nails.

I've had holo nails on the past two Valborgsmässoafton. So you know gotta carry on the tradition! We even had some sun so I got to see the sparklyness in full force :) Too bad the sun was away when I took these pics... Here's a link so you can drool over last years mani!

 Here's the most color accurate pic, under a lamp. I started with one coat of Gina Tricot - Petrol on most nails and two coats of A England - Saint George on the ring finger. The other nails got a hole reinforcer and a coat of Depend - 2036 and SV on all nails!

Need to show the holo a bit more. The Depend holos are really good! And since they're so tiny and expensive (and not very opaque..) it's nice to layer them :)

I celebrated Valborg in Lund with a bunch of friends and had a really nice time :)
It's really time to crack open the holos for reals now woop woop! I <3 summer.

Here's the other mani I made with two hole reinforcers.

The base is two coats of Gabrini - M107 and the darker one is Gina Tricot - Petrol + SV.

This one is more color accurate. Two toned manis are really nice :)

Long time, no blog. I've been busy and haven't had any ready pics to get up here. I've celebrated my 25th birthday with the bf, a cosy night in with good food and dessert. I've also been out with friends and celebrated mine and one of my sisters birthdays at my moms place. A busy but fun week! :) Here's some nails from that week! (for my birthday I wore Maxfactor - Fantasy Fire over Orly - Rococo A Go-Go puuurdy!)

Shield your eyes! ;) This is three coats of China Glaze - I'm with the Lifeguard, the spots are Color Club - Disco Dress. The black is A England - Camelot + SV.

And here's a swatch of I'm with the Lifeguard. Matte shimmery neon <3 This winter weather sure makes me want crazy colors :P

Here's a mani from this week. I have to say, I really recommend hole reinforcers! They stick to the nail better than regular tape. And they save time since they're already cut up and ready to go!

I started with one coat of A England - Dragon, then added hole reinforcers for a slanted half moon and Saint George.

On my right hand I added Bridal Veil as well but that was a bit too dark. I should try this again with other colors. Look at that purdy bling tho.

I've been really feeling the loud nails lately. Also, this really looked plastic which I thought was a bit fun. I should do more creme manis! At least if they are as easy to work with as these two :)

Here's a mani from last year.

The pink is three coats of Wet'n'Wild - Hannah Pinktana. I then added striping tape since it's easier to stick to the nail and painted on A England - Saint George + SV. I don't really know what I think about this mani. I didn't wear it long enough to make up my mind :P

Here's Hannah Pinktana on its own. The color is in between Milani - Hi-Res and Milani - Digital. It's a pretty pink scattered holo.

Pretty polish, funny name.

I'm in a nail polish group on Facebook and a woman there helped me get ahold of this polish and two others :) Yey! I had a hard time photographing it tho :/

A bit blurry but it shows the color at least. This is two coats of Wet'n'Wild - Teal of Fortune, but I should've done three.

It's a pretty shimmery sparkly teal :)

I have a lot of new polishes so I'll have to get cracking on swatching them. 

Also, the bf totally surprised me and came home two days earlier than I thought! :) What a sneaky boy! :D But it made me reeeaaally happy :) He's the best.

I used Nailsides tutorial for these :) Base is two or three coats of A England - Holy Grail. The green is Wet'n'Wild - Teal of Fortune. SV to smooth it out.

This was an easy and pretty quick holiday mani :)

If you're a nail nerd you probably know about the Peridot craze from a while back. And if you don't well, Chanel made a polish called Peridot that everyone went crazy about (and that's also crazy expensive like all of their polishes...). And then other brands made dupes since it was so popular. I have one of them.

This is two coats of Kicks - Evening at Chateau Marmont over Gina Tricot - Petrol + a coat of SV. I bumped the index finger boo. Anyways, it looks like some cool greenish brass.

I've used this polish twice and I can say that I get it. It's really pretty. Altho it's really sheer so you need to layer it.

This autumn/winter thing is really cramping my photo style. I want light again!

Here's a polish I got from our old room mate. She had two polishes from Gina Tricot that didn't suit her so she brought them to her most polish nerdy friend (me!) ;) First time I tried this brand as well.

 This is two coats of Gina Tricot - Billard. It had a nice formula, and was almost opaque in one coat! As in, this is a good "morning" polish for me :P Sometimes I only use one coat when I'm short for time (and add another one when I get home).

This is a little more color accurate. It's a warm green, with shimmer. Taken under the stove lamp, since we're losing light over here!

A dance with dragons.

I felt like using an "old" polish (as in swatched before lol). After a day I wanted to add something and thought it would be fun to base the polish after a theme, their names!

This is two coats of Gosh - Golden Dragon, hole reinforcements + striping tape and a coat of A England - Dragon + SV. Get it? Draaagooons :) The Gosh polish really is what it says, a golden dragon. It's really pretty! And ofc Dragon is also pretty duh ;) Sparklarama!

Ps. I will start reading "A dance with dragons" this weekend 8) So I thought the title would be extra approriate lol.

This is two coats of Sally Hansen - Grass Slipper + SV since I was in a hurry. This is a really cool color! It is just a tad more green IRL.

I really liked this color on my short nails :)

This is the other polish I got from one of my sisters.

This is three coats of Face Stockholm - ??. No name on the bottle. Dried pretty fast.

It's a nice green, the nail line wasn't as visible IRL.

I felt I should do some non tape nail art so I don't totally forget how lol. I've been meaning to do a water marble for like ever but I didn't have the time or energy so I went for something easy but still fun. Leopard print! :)

Base is Face Stockholm - eemh yellow and the green dots are with the other Face Stockholm polish I got from my sister (no name for that one either) :) The black is A England - Camelot + SV to smoooth it out.

Bright and fun :)
