If you're a nail nerd you probably know about the Peridot craze from a while back. And if you don't well, Chanel made a polish called Peridot that everyone went crazy about (and that's also crazy expensive like all of their polishes...). And then other brands made dupes since it was so popular. I have one of them.

This is two coats of Kicks - Evening at Chateau Marmont over Gina Tricot - Petrol + a coat of SV. I bumped the index finger boo. Anyways, it looks like some cool greenish brass.

I've used this polish twice and I can say that I get it. It's really pretty. Altho it's really sheer so you need to layer it.

This autumn/winter thing is really cramping my photo style. I want light again!

Here's what I'm wearing today, a funky french! :) Two coats of A England - Ascalon with tips in China Glaze - First Mate and a coat of SV. Can you guess how I made the tips? Yeah, tape ;) I'm really digging my hole reinforcers!

Here it is in all its glory. The dupe for Unicorn Pee only available in the UK (which I got when we went to Scotland this summer). This post will contain a looot of pics since I really wanna make you understand how beautiful it is. Yes I'm a nail polish nerd. Start drooling! I think I have to make all the pics big as well 8)

This is two coats (I think? It was a while ago) of Maxfactor - Fantasy Fire (awesome name!) over two coats of Essie - Wicked. Might be a coat of SV as well.

Then it shifts! From the prettiest red shimmer to copper with yellow tint.

To a forest-y green. It's almost embarassing how much time I spent watching my nails with this polish. Almost.

 The first time I tried it I layered one coat of it over A England - Lady of the Lake. Here you can see the purpleness of Fantasy Fire a lot more. And also the holo shines from underneath :)

Here it looks purple and blue.

Here's the other Models Own I got in Scotland.

This is three coats of Models Own - Purple Blue. Application was easy but I disapprove of polished that need three coats...

I like the sparkle of the blue in the dark purple base but that wasn't all to visible. Can't win all the time :p

Thanks to Nageldraken I found out that you can buy hole reinforcers at Biltema so the next time we went there I got me some! :) For those of you who don't know, they are used to make half moon manis tape style! :)

The base is Models Own - Indian Ocean and the blue is China Glaze - Rodeo Fanatic + SV.

It's a nice look and a great way to switch the taping up ;) The stickers are really easy to use as well, more so than regular tape.

Are you going running to Biltema now? ;)

Grey and pink duochrome.

Here's a polish I got in Scotland. My first Models Own, bought at Boots.

This is one coat (I think) of Models Own - Indian Ocean over one coat of H&M - Miss Stone Heart (loveonecoatersforevah). The color is a bit hard to describe. Greyish base with a pink flash?

The pink flash was more visible IRL. Lookit the bottle! Purdy.

I've worn this once before a year or so ago but I felt it should get it's time in the spotlight like all the rest lol. I bought this polish at Bordershop in Puttgarden (I think that's where it is at least). Bordershop is a crazy place lol. A reference for my swedish peeps; it's kind of like Ullared but with booze. And candy! :D Aaand also some make up. Like this one 8)

This is two coats of Gosh - Purple Heart + SV. Nice application and drying time. It's a purple and green duochrome. When the light hits it right it's really pretty!

Mostly it looks like this though, a blackened purple shimmer. Well that aint too bad either.

Lavender holo.

This is the last of the Legends I had to swatch and photograph. And it's as pretty as all the rest!

Two coats of A England - Princess Tears. Lavender purple holo with a similar duochrome as Ascalon. I didn't get a lot of photos of this but you get the idea I hope!

Here's what it looks like without the holo. I like it like this as well! Sorry about the unfocused pic o.O And there was no sun around either booh!

Anyways, to conclude: this is an awesome collection. I've got all except Order of the Garter but I'm guessing that one is pretty cool as well ;P I've seriously gasped a little with the first stroke of paint of all of these polishes because they were even prettier than I expected! :)

In my next post I will try another brand from the UK which is new to me. Exciting! :>

Today's polish is yet another supermarket find :) I've bought all my Color Club minis at Ica Maxi for 10-25 SEK. Pretty nice :) They usually don't have that many colors to choose from so I was really excited to find a duochrome! :D

Color Club - Runway Muse. The thumb and ring is one coat over one coat of CG - Liquid Leather. The others are two coats over one coat of CG- Snow.

I like it best over black :) It reminded me of Gosh - Purple Heart. Altho it was several months since I wore that one :p

And since today is exactly one month until our move I'll post another one of these funny bathroom hairdo-pix 8) This was a looser version of the braid.
