Rose Bower nail art.

Jag blev sugen på att ta fram min striping tape efter att jag haft Rose Bower i några dagar :)

Basen (det röda) är alltså A England - Rose Bower. Sen la jag på två bitar striping tape på varje nagel och målade ett lager Orly - Rococo A Go-Go + Seche Vite top coat såklart.

I skuggan och det multikroma syns mkt mer mmmm.

Av nån anledning blödde det silvriga från tapen ut lite men det blev som en ganska cool effekt så jag tyckte inte det gjorde nåt :) Lite som rost typ.

Jag fortsätter swatchandet. Här är den sista av mina A Englands som inte kommit upp på bloggen :)

 Detta är två lager av A England - Rose Bower. Holo + solljus = for lajf.

Tycker deras flaskor är så fina. Crown your hands and feet liksom.

Så här ser det ut i skuggan. Som Perceval med holo typ. Så himla snyggt! Det var lättmålat som vanligt.

This is two coats of A England - Briar Rose. It's looks like raspberry holo.

Here's the second A England I tried. Only got one decent pic tho.

This is one coat of A England - Briarwood. Next time I'll do two coats. It's a typical A England, super easy application (I mean look at that ring finger line) and dries fast. This one felt a bit different as it's like the holo is sitting on top of the base color. Pretty neat!

Here's three more of my christmas polishes from G.

This is two or three coats of Color Club - Personal Stylist. It's a dark blue with shimmer.

A bit blurry but this shows the color better.

This is two coats of Sephora - Crush in Moscow. Pretty pinkish red glass fleck.

Pretty in the shade as well :) Great formula on this one, I really like the Sephora brush!

Here's two coats of Biolife - 325. The perfect nude for me :)

It looks a bit streaky here but that wasn't noticeable IRL. Mannequin hands!

Two late xmas-manis.

Here are two christmas manis that I never got around to posting. But why not post them in january! ;p

Here's a ruffian (like a reversed french) made with A England - Perceval (the red) and then two coats of Princess Sabra. A bit blurry but you get the idea I hope.

This is three coats of China Glaze - Twinkle Lights. Maybe should've used some underwear for this one.

I just couldn't get nice pics that day. Too bad I have 3 more manis from that day lol.

Here's another mani attempting to be christmassy :p

I started out with two coats of A England - Perceval (it's like christmas in a bottle yes?) then I taped my tips off with hole reinforcers and added H&M - Kiss Goodnight + SV. Also, I've bumped almost all manis recently, whaddup? o.O

I think Perceval is definitely going to be this months most used polish :>

Also, the bf went to India yesterday with his family. He's going to be away for three weeks and ofc brought his camera. I did stock up on material before he went so there will still be posts.

(Yes, I already miss that boy!)

Here's a holiday mani for ya'll! It's a bit wrinkly and what not since I wasn't real patient in my applying... Anyways it's red and gold and I'm looking forward to christmas! :D

Also I only have one half-crappy pic of it :P Anyways, this is two or three coats of Barry M - Red Glitter and then I put on some hole reinforcers and added a coat of a gold polish (can't remember which..) + SV.

I'll have to recreate this one later on :)

I made some christmassy nails, totally by accident. But they were pretty anyways so :)

This is two coats of Sinful Colors - Tanji Orange and then I added two coats of Barielle - Elle's Spell (altho you can't see it in the pics..) and a coat of Barry M - Nail Effects 201 (the gold crackle) on ring and thumb. + SV you know. You just have to imagine the flakies! ;P

I plan to make a lot of holiday manis this year. I'm totally getting into the christmas spirit!

Here's another take on this mani. I really liked the old one but I think this one is slightly cooler!

The red is A England - Perceval and the black is A England - Bridal Veil. Striping tape and some black rhinestones with Seche Vite to smooth everything out!

It makes me think of some super villain lol.

First Essie.

I got my first Essie polish from G :)

This is two coats of Essie - Wicked. Easy application and drying time, altho the brush is huge compared to what I'm used to. It looks a bit streaky here but that wasn't visible IRL. It's a nice vampy polish :)

This is what it looked like with one coat. For some reason I liked this look and could've worn it like this if not for wanting a proper swatch on the blog. Weirdo! Lol.

I wanted something a bit more fun for a dinner with some co workers a couple of weeks ago. Since I still need to try a lot of combos with the half moons I went for that ;)

Three coats of Barry M - Silver Multi Glitter, tape, one coat of Isadora - Black Rose + SV. Look at that gorgeous dark red shimmer, yum!

I like mixing finishes with tape manis :)

I felt like giving some love to an old polish.

I added striping tape and China Glaze - Foxy over Life Preserver + SV. Sunlight for once!

With flash. I liked the ring and pinkie best.

Minnie skittles.

I got another gift from abroad from G. And they're also my first OPI's (except for base and top coat).

I got a mini set with three colors and a quick drying top coat. Since the bottles are small I thought skittles would be perfect! The pink (on thumb and ring) is OPI - If You Moust You Moust, the pink shimmer (glass fleck?) (on index and pinkie) is I'm All Ears and the red (on middle) is The Color Of Minnie. It's red with pink shimmer. Red + shimmer, obviously it was my fav... ;) The pink was a bit streaky, otherwise they applied nicely.

Maybe I should wear skittles more often. It looks fun :)

Last saturday we celebrated my granddad's birthday. Ofc I had to have a sparkly and pretty mani for that special occasion!

This is one coat of China Glaze - Ruby Pumps, one coat of Barry M - Red Glitter (fab!) & one coat of Barielle - Elle's Spell + SV.

I had a little shrinkage but it wasn't noticeable IRL. I was really happy with this mani. I wish the photos could've shown it in all its glory ;)

I should wear glitter more often, 'tis fun!

Today is the Icelandic National Day and since I'm also celebrating a very special woman today I decided to do some nail art to honor the occasion.

Yes, it's another striping tape and rhinestone mani :) The white is E.L.F. - White and the blue is China Glaze - First Mate. Some red rhinestones and Seche Vite to top it off!

 Here's the flag that I made in Paint lol.

A bit messy since I'm too lazy to do clean up (oops). Anyways, I like it :)

I have a weak spot for red shimmers. And this is a great red shimmer!

This is one coat of A England - Perceval. I was going to cover it with some nail art so I thought one coat was enough. For a full mani I would've gone for two coats but as you can see you could get away with just the one :)

Yes it has a great formula and dries fast. Drooool! I don't think I need more red shimmers since this is the prettiest of them all :)

I was looking through the statistics for the blog and this is my second most viewed post. I was all like what gives? But since people seemed to like it (and keep on googling tribal nails and finding it lol) I wanted to recreate it. It's a little bit different (and on short nails) but the idea is the same.

The base is Color Club - P Is For Pride and the dark red shimmer is Isadora - Blackened Rose + SV to smooth everything out. I used regular tape and striping tape. I don't really know what I think of this mani but it does look fun at least.

Today I've been avoiding studying and did some tie dying instead :S But I'm going to walk to campus and return a book today so that's kind of like studying. Lol, I'm the worst. At least the day is still young! /end rant.

This is two coats of Color Club - P Is For Pride. It had an easy breezy formula and dried fast :) Like!

Also, look at how shiny it is without top coat! :)

I wanted to do some nail art since I hadn't in a while and decided on leopard print.

The base is the polish from the previous post. The red dots are Color Club - P Is For Pride (I think since I have no label) and the black is A England - Bridal Veil + SV to smooth everything out. The sales clerk at H&M gave me a compliment for these nails, that's always fun :)
