Här kommer nästa manikyr i ordningen. En somrig blå plastfoliemanikyr närmare bestämt.

Det undre och ljusare lagret är No 7 - Duck Egg Blue och det lite mörkare är H&M - U Must Have This. Och så ett lager Seche Vite top coat över det hela som vanligt.

För att uppnå den här effekten målar du först ett (eller flera) lager av din basfärg och låter det torka. Sen målar du ett lager av den mörkare färgen och duttar ovanpå med ihopskrynklad plastfolie så att det ljusa tittar fram. Och så ett lager överlack för att få en jämn yta :)

Jag kollade i mitt arkiv för att se om jag hade bloggat om en manikyr eller inte. Vilket jag hade. Och den senaste nail arten publicerade jag i... februari! Den här bloggen har ju inte handlat så mycket om naglar på ett tag för jag har inte haft så stor lust till det. Men! De senaste veckorna har mina naglar varit hårda som tusan och jag har låtit dem växa ut för skojs skull. Typ för att se hur långa de blir innan nån nagel går av. Haha. Känns det igen från mitt fedelånga hår? (Kom precis på att det var ju en bra idé till kommande inlägg - hår update!) :) Hur som helst! Helt plötsligt var det roligt med nagellack igen :) Så jag har haft målade naglar några veckor nu. Och så rotade jag lite i mappen och tänkte what the heck jag lägger upp de två andra manikyrerna jag hittade.

Skulle tro att det undre lagret är H&M - 70's Boho. Sen lite molnaktig layering med Isadora - Spellbound Black.

En sån där klassisk manikyr. För mig iaf :P Om jag inte är helt ute och cyklar (så här går det när en väntar 4 månader med att publicera haha) så är det undre lagret A England - Fated Prince. Sen lite hålförstärkar-stickers och A England - Bridal Veil. + Seche Vite top coat misstänker jag :P Och kan vi ta en sekund och begrunda det faktum att A England har 3 (!!!) kollektioner som jag inte har ett endaste lack ifrån. Buuuh. :(

Och här är då det jag faktiskt gjorde idag! Igår kollade jag igenom arkivet för att hitta inspiration. Det blev denna. Tycker det är fint med ljust på långa naglar :) Två lager H&M - On Ice och så lite A England - Merlin som jag duttade på tipparna. Och ett lager Seche Vite. Fint! :)

Tänker att den nya nagelkvaliteten kanske hänger ihop med att jag äter lite annorlunda nu för tiden. Mer frukt och grönt och inte så mycket animaliskt. Så massor av nyttigheter och vitaminer och grejer. Kanske kanske! Kul hur som helst :)

Two old manis that were never published. And a new one! :) I've been painting my nails recently. It's fun having long and strong nails. We'll see how it goes :)

Last nails of 2013.

Quick post today. The camera I use for my nail pics wasn't available but since I had actually made some nail art I borrowed the bf's smartphone. So only one pic.

The base is one coat of H&M - Darling Pink with a coat of China Glaze - Fairy Dust on top. The clouds are Sally Hansen - Twisted Pink. And a coat of SV to smooth it out. This was really sparkly IRL :)

For christmas I wore A England - Perceval (is there any polish christmassier? Yes that is a word) and for new years eve I wore A England - Tristam since I forgot to paint my nails and only had time for one coat! Crazy. Here's to more nail art in 2014 :)

I finally made some nail art. A subtle mani with grey and grey.

This is two coats of H&M - Miss Stone Heart (yes I use it aaaall the time 8)) then I added hole reinforcers and A England - Ascalon + Seche Vite top coat.

It's hard getting good pics now since it's dark before I go to work and dark when I get home. So expect flashy pics on the scarce manis...

Sister L commented that I should do a cloud mani in cloudy colors (blue and white). She also suggested a rainbow... I was all like yeah sure! Then my white polish made me crazy and I ended up with one of my favorites (one coater ya know!). Actually, two favorites. Need to put these away so the other polishes get some love too! ;)

The grey (which looks blue here) is H&M - Miss Stone Heart and the blue is China Glaze - First Mate. Best cremes! Then I added some rhinestones in the colors of the rainbow. Except I didn't have any orange ones!

Also booh Seche Vite for smudging! Need to have a lighter touch I guess. And next time I'll reverse the colors so it's more cloudy. Blue clouds exist tho right??

It's been a while... Well here are some nails!

 I made this mani to match the dress I wore for the wedding we attended this past weekend.

It's the same technique as this one. The base is one coat of H&M - U Must Have This. Probably should've done two coats to avoid the little bald spots but I didn't have that much time. The dark blue is my trusted nail arty polish China Glaze - First Mate. Used in at least 7 nail arts on this blog. Woop woop! I added a yellow rhinestone before I slapped on some SV. Done!

And a pic to show you how well this matched my dress. Like really well I would say! My mom bought this dress and it shrunk a bit when she washed it = free dress for me! It's a good thing for me my mom has such great taste :)

Alas, now my nails are naked again. And so shall they remain until next week when I have the entire weekend off, including friday! Bring on the nail polish!

I had two days off work last week and I was all
must. paint. nails.

 I was short for time the first day and needed a quick drying one coater. I chose H&M - Miss Stone Heart. This grey is awesome! The second day I added a coat of China Glaze - White Cap. A magical combo previously worn here. Since I wanted nail art I added hole reinforcers and Miss Stone Heart again except on the ring finger which is A England - Bridal Veil + SV.

Purdy!

I'm kind of looking forward to the next day off lol. And next week I'm actually free the whole weekend zomg! Will need some festive nails then as we're off to a wedding :)

This is the last christmas mani I made. I thought it would be nice to save it for christmas eve! Which as you might know is the big day for us here in Sweden. I timed this post since I won't be home (in my own home) for a couple of days. MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU GUYS!

I had to try Nailsides other tree design :) The base is H&M - Miss Stone Heart + China Glaze - White Cap, which was a perfect background! It kinda looks like snow falling :) The trees from the left is Wet'n'Wild - Teal of Fortune, China Glaze - Starboard, A England - Dragon & A England - Saint George. SV and rhinestones!

Here's a layering manicure I was really pleased with!

This is one coat of H&M - Miss Stone Heart and then I added one coat of China Glaze - White Cap. This was sooo pretty! (yes I bumped a nail again lol)

 The bf took these pics for me with his fancy flash. They manage to capture that pretty golden shimmer. I need to layer White Cap over all my light colors! :)

Here's another mani attempting to be christmassy :p

I started out with two coats of A England - Perceval (it's like christmas in a bottle yes?) then I taped my tips off with hole reinforcers and added H&M - Kiss Goodnight + SV. Also, I've bumped almost all manis recently, whaddup? o.O

I think Perceval is definitely going to be this months most used polish :>

Also, the bf went to India yesterday with his family. He's going to be away for three weeks and ofc brought his camera. I did stock up on material before he went so there will still be posts.

(Yes, I already miss that boy!)

Sponging and glitter.

Here's another sponged mani.

I started with a base of two coats of Color Club - Emerald Depths. Then I sponged on H&M - U Must Have This on three nails and two coats of Revlon - Radiant (Scotland find!) on the other two. + some SV ofc.

Didn't get any great pics of this one but you get the idea. I also think I like sponged manis to be closer in finish. These are metallic and creme. Looked a bit weird. The glitter is fun at least :)

Spicing up the mood.

I felt I should add something to the Moody Model mani. What better than tape and some bling right? ;)

I added some tape and a coat of A England - St George (puuuuurdy polish) + SV. It looks really cool in this pic...

...but mostly it looked like this since the polishes are a bit too similar in color. And you get blinded by the SV lol. Next time I'll use colors that are more contrasting :)

This is a polish I've already used three times, even though I'm not sure I like it... Maybe I should focus on using the ones I'm sure about instead lol.

This is two coats of H&M - Moody Model. I like the color but the formula isn't all that. It looks pretty alright in this pic but it tends to be a bit streaky. Maybe I'm not all that used to cremes.. ;p At least now I have a swatch of it lol.

I found this polish for 10 SEK at H&M a few weeks ago. How could I resist?

This is one (!) coat of H&M - Miss Stone Heart. I can see great tape potential for this one :) It's a pretty soothing color and I'm loving the formula.

I felt it needed something more so I sponged on some A England - Merlin + SV. Kind of unusual for me with such a discreet mani but I liked it :)

These pics are probably way off and all that lol. The camera doesn't really like photographing this type of purple shade. But I got it in my head that I want swatches of all my polishes on the blog :P

Two coats of H&M - Purple In Paris (weird name lol) + SV I think. Application was so and so. It turned out a bit streaky when it dried, should have done three coats. Anyways this photo is the most color accurate I think. I didn't like the color all that much. Pretty but not very special. Maybe I'm not a creme person :P

Then I did this the day after :) Tape, China Glaze - First Class Ticket, rhinestones and SV. The b-day mani was a second take on this one. I'm glad I've started to use my rhinestones a bit more, they're pretty nice! :)

Two coats of H&M - Kiss Goodnight + SV. Flash.

Natural light. It's a nice charcoal grey with some sparkle :) Easy to apply and dried pretty fast as well.

Mimmi Pigg.

Mimmi Pigg is Minnie Mouse in swedish. I bought her polish at H&M for 10 SEK on sale. I also have Daisy, and those are the only ones that I know of. It was hard photographing it though. In the bottle I thought it was more of a coral polish but it's mostly just pink.

Probably a bit warmer tone than in this picture. I did two coats and they dried pretty fast. Application was nice and easy.

Excuse the tip wear, I took this photo when I got home since there was some sun (I know shocking!).

Here it is in direct sunlight. I think the color is probably a mix of my three photos :P I liked wearing it which was good since I wasn't feeling myself and had the same polish on for 6 (!) days.

Still sick but here's some polish anyways.

One (woho) coat of H&M - On Ice. I like. It's a really light pastelly blue.

Lookit, the adorable bottle :) Too bad I didn't get my hands on the other one.

Then I thought "hey, I don't play with my crackles enough. I have 5 of 'em and 5 fingers on this hand. Why not try 'em all?" So I did. Which was a fail since I forgot I own 6 crackles lol. But the one I forgot is a white one so it wouldn't have been much fun anyways. From left to right: Isadora - Black Tag, Subway Green, Masterpiece Pink, Depend - 5010 & 5002. And a coat of TC on top. Sorry the photo is out of focus... Anyways, I liked this mani, twas fun!

Stripes.

I present to you day 6 of the 14 Day Challenge: stripes.

A bit messy since I did it before school :P The stripes are made with regular tape and striping tape.

The green is China Glaze - Starboard, the red is 108 Degrees and the gold is H&M - 70s Boho. The base is E.L.F. - White.

I did a simpler look on my right hand.

I'll have to do another stripe mani soon since I wasn't totally pleased with this one. I wanted it to be Christmassy but it mostly made me think of Italy and Super Mario lol. I was going to do some nail art and stuff today since I don't have any school but the bf is away with his camera so that will have to wait. The next one up is animal print so that will be fun :)

Mismatching hands.

I tried something new for this mani and it's always fun when that turns our pretty nice :) I had to cover up the pink and decided to give a polish a new chance. I didn't like H&M - Moody Model the first time I used it. But it grew a little on me so I think we can be friends now ;)

My left hand got some striping tape which I placed so that the bumps would be covered. I thought it looked cute :) Like a present on my nails 8)

It didn't look streaky IRL but the new lens is quite imba and shows everything :P

Onto the new achievement! My first ruffian :) I thought it turned out really nice since it was my first time and I did it with my non-dominant hand. It was fun having mismatched hands :)
