Rose Bower nail art.

Hej!
Jag blev sugen på att ta fram min striping tape efter att jag haft Rose Bower i några dagar :)

Basen (det röda) är alltså A England - Rose Bower. Sen la jag på två bitar striping tape på varje nagel och målade ett lager Orly - Rococo A Go-Go + Seche Vite top coat såklart.

I skuggan och det multikroma syns mkt mer mmmm.

Av nån anledning blödde det silvriga från tapen ut lite men det blev som en ganska cool effekt så jag tyckte inte det gjorde nåt :) Lite som rost typ.

Jag kollade i mitt arkiv för att se om jag hade bloggat om en manikyr eller inte. Vilket jag hade. Och den senaste nail arten publicerade jag i... februari! Den här bloggen har ju inte handlat så mycket om naglar på ett tag för jag har inte haft så stor lust till det. Men! De senaste veckorna har mina naglar varit hårda som tusan och jag har låtit dem växa ut för skojs skull. Typ för att se hur långa de blir innan nån nagel går av. Haha. Känns det igen från mitt fedelånga hår? (Kom precis på att det var ju en bra idé till kommande inlägg - hår update!) :) Hur som helst! Helt plötsligt var det roligt med nagellack igen :) Så jag har haft målade naglar några veckor nu. Och så rotade jag lite i mappen och tänkte what the heck jag lägger upp de två andra manikyrerna jag hittade.

Skulle tro att det undre lagret är H&M - 70's Boho. Sen lite molnaktig layering med Isadora - Spellbound Black.

En sån där klassisk manikyr. För mig iaf :P Om jag inte är helt ute och cyklar (så här går det när en väntar 4 månader med att publicera haha) så är det undre lagret A England - Fated Prince. Sen lite hålförstärkar-stickers och A England - Bridal Veil. + Seche Vite top coat misstänker jag :P Och kan vi ta en sekund och begrunda det faktum att A England har 3 (!!!) kollektioner som jag inte har ett endaste lack ifrån. Buuuh. :(

Och här är då det jag faktiskt gjorde idag! Igår kollade jag igenom arkivet för att hitta inspiration. Det blev denna. Tycker det är fint med ljust på långa naglar :) Två lager H&M - On Ice och så lite A England - Merlin som jag duttade på tipparna. Och ett lager Seche Vite. Fint! :)

Tänker att den nya nagelkvaliteten kanske hänger ihop med att jag äter lite annorlunda nu för tiden. Mer frukt och grönt och inte så mycket animaliskt. Så massor av nyttigheter och vitaminer och grejer. Kanske kanske! Kul hur som helst :)

Two old manis that were never published. And a new one! :) I've been painting my nails recently. It's fun having long and strong nails. We'll see how it goes :)

Purple holo stripes.

För någon vecka sen gjorde jag lite nail art. Synd bara att det är så tradigt ljus såhär års... Men fint var det iaf!

Lite suddigt och ofokuserat men här syns mönstret iaf. Det ljusa är 3 lager Milani - Hi-Res och det mörka är A England - Lady of the Lake. Och så lite striping tape och Seche Vite överlack. Detta är en ganska vanlig look för mig men fortfarande väldigt najs! :)

Blixtbilder är ju i normala fall kanske inte så jättekul men när det gäller holo så är det ett måste! :)

Kolla vad blingigt liksom! Längtar till den soliga sommaren och holo-naglar err day, mmmm

New year's eve nails.

Här kommer sista manikyren från 2014, mina nyårsnaglar. Kanske också den mest genomarbetade manikyren det året :p Och två år senare är jag fortfarande ledsen över att A England inte skeppar utomlands. Buuuuu!

Ofokuserad progressbild. Började med två lager Barry M - Pink Multi Glitter. Fick ta ett lager överlack också för att få striping tapen att fästa. Det överdrivet snygga gröna är såklart A England - Saint George. (som jag faktiskt använt ett nyår till men det blev inga foton då)

Eftersom det var nyår var jag ju tvungen att he på mer glitter! China Glaze - Fairy Dust + Atlantis och A England - Merlin. Plus en liten sten och Seche Vite top coat. Svårt att fånga blinget så ni får väl lita på att detta var en redigt snygg manikyr!

My new years eve mani! Two coats of Barry M - Pink Multi Glitter, striping tape and A England - Saint George. I feel a NYE mani needs sparkle so I added some glitter to the tips with China Glaze - Fairy Dust and Atlantis + A England - Merlin. Rhinestone in the middle and some Seche Vite and done!

Holo criss cross.

En plötslig inspiration i helgen och så lite roligare naglar för första gången på länge!

Basen är två lager A England - Briarwood. På högerhanden hade jag tävling med 5 olika A Englands för att se vilken jag gillade bäst :p Från lillfingret och fram: Fated Prince, Saint George, Sleeping Palace, Camelot och Bridal Veil på tummen. Jämn match!

Men bestämde mig till sist för Camelot. Och kryss lite högre upp.

A bunch of A Englands in this mani. Base is two coats of Briarwood. On the right hand I tried out 5 different ones before I landed on Camelot for the left hand. Polishes used on the right hand (from pinky to thumb) were Fated Prince, Saint George, Sleeping Palace, Camelot and Bridal Veil.

The gorgeous semi matte shimmer fest is Sephora - Any way any where (WHY IS IT A MINI BOTTLE????) and the black is A England - Camelot.

This Sephora is a true staring polish. So purdy.

Let's see if I still remember how to do this... :P Here's a swatch and some easy peasy nail art!

 This is two coats of No 7 - Cruising. Easy application and drying time was pretty fast. I like the brush, made the polishing easy. I got this polish as a gift from G, first from this brand :) It's a lot darker IRL tho, these kinds of shades are hard to photograph...

Then I was like "wazzup A England??" and added hole reinforcers and Bridal Veil.

I'm a bit rusty at this non-scenic-awesome-icelandic-nature-photographing. I'll have to practise with more nails soon!

Summer nails.

I had the weekend off, and with my work schedule that was almost 4 days off. I painted my nails.. once. But hey, it's something at least! I've been neglecting my blog a lot. I wish it was because I've been super busy doing stuff but mostly it's been work or being tired after work.. It'll get better when I go to Iceland :)

 It's kind of weird picking what you wanna wear after two weeks of naked nails. Pressure! I went for holo since it was sunny :)

The insanely holo pink is three coats of Make Up Store - Britta (super pretty and with a name that is special to me :)) and on the thumb is also A England - Ascalon. The ring finger is two-three coats of Milani - Digital and the darker pink is China Glaze - 108 Degrees.

Subtle and not so subtle.

I had two days off work last week and I was all
must. paint. nails.

 I was short for time the first day and needed a quick drying one coater. I chose H&M - Miss Stone Heart. This grey is awesome! The second day I added a coat of China Glaze - White Cap. A magical combo previously worn here. Since I wanted nail art I added hole reinforcers and Miss Stone Heart again except on the ring finger which is A England - Bridal Veil + SV.

Purdy!

I'm kind of looking forward to the next day off lol. And next week I'm actually free the whole weekend zomg! Will need some festive nails then as we're off to a wedding :)

Another half moon mani... I just keep reaching for them hole reinforcers. Maybe if I remove them from my desk I might do something else... ;)

This is one coat of China Glaze - First Mate, which didn't look patchy IRL + hole reinforcers + Depend - 2032 + SV.

It's been sunny a lot so I can't really motivate not wearing holographic polishes (holo holo!) ;)

Day of DIY # 42. NP jewelry.

I've been the worst blogger lately... I blaim the fact that I've actually studied, haven't done my nails a lot and my DIYs have been big stuff that I can't show on the blog yet. Digging through my pics I found some old stuff that I hadn't posted yet so yay DIY! Nail polish jewelry to be exact, made about a year ago. I bought the cabochons (glass pieces) and ring holders + pendant loops (yeah you get what I mean lol) from here.

Pendant made with A England - Saint George.

Another pendant with Barielle - Elle's Spell, China Glaze - Ruby Pumps (I think) and Barry M - Red Glitter. I wanted to recreate this mani as a necklace :)

Then I made several rings. This is Milani - Cyberspace and Depend - 5002 (crackle).

Valborg nails.

I've had holo nails on the past two Valborgsmässoafton. So you know gotta carry on the tradition! We even had some sun so I got to see the sparklyness in full force :) Too bad the sun was away when I took these pics... Here's a link so you can drool over last years mani!

 Here's the most color accurate pic, under a lamp. I started with one coat of Gina Tricot - Petrol on most nails and two coats of A England - Saint George on the ring finger. The other nails got a hole reinforcer and a coat of Depend - 2036 and SV on all nails!

Need to show the holo a bit more. The Depend holos are really good! And since they're so tiny and expensive (and not very opaque..) it's nice to layer them :)

I celebrated Valborg in Lund with a bunch of friends and had a really nice time :)
It's really time to crack open the holos for reals now woop woop! I <3 summer.

The creme polish is Barry M - Cyan Blue, then I added hole reinforcers and Color Club - Emerald Depths + SV. I didn't think it would turn out this subtle, in some angles it was hardly visible :S But pretty colors anyways!

Sometimes I just need to make a lot of different versions of the same tape mani... This is what I've been wearing the last couple of days.

The light purple is Gabrini - M110 and the darker is Color Club - Disco Dress + SV. I used hole reinforcers as usual for this look.

I think a light and dark green should be next. Or perhaps pink.. or orange. Red... I'll just have to try them all! :)

I hope you all had a lovely easter. I've been snuggling with my niece who's just the cutest little baby ever! :) I'm already looking forward to the next time I see her.

I had some time and energy this weekend and made some nail art. Finally.

The base is two coats of A England - Lady of the Lake. Then I added two hole reinforcers per nail and A England - Camelot + SV.

And we had sun all weekend :) I like this shape and that it's made from hole reinforcers, which are so easy to use! I already made another mani like this with different polishes :]

This is one coat of Sally Hansen - Grass Slipper, hole reinforcer tape and A England - Camelot + SV.

I've been really feeling the loud nails lately. Also, this really looked plastic which I thought was a bit fun. I should do more creme manis! At least if they are as easy to work with as these two :)

Here's a mani loosely inspired by this one from The Nailasaurus, and colorwise from a mani I saw like 2 years ago but have no idea what that blog was called... Anyways! :p

The base is one coat of China Glaze - Riveting (which I would've added a second to if I wasn't going to cover it) then I added striping tape and A England - Ascalon + SV. I think I like the index and ring finger designs best :)

A bit blurry. Booh I want sunshine!

Coincidentally I got this polish from G for christmas which is really similar to Riveting. I guess we have the same taste :) This is two coats of Sephora - Sunrise on the Moon. Sadly, these kinds of red orange make my winter pale skin look even paler. So nail art is kind of a must!

I've been keeping to my trying to make more nail art the past couple of weeks :)
