Pamsan at Claws In Color gave me an award a while ago. I'm gonna give it a go!

I'm supposed to make an ABC..-list about myself. Which is a lot to come up with I think so we'll see how much it'll be *just* about me lol. Since I'm doing this in english I'll leave out our fabolous swedish letters åäö.

- ATS. I practice American Tribal Style once a week and wrote about it here.

- BF/BFF (boyfriend/best friend forever). I have an awesome bf, I love him to bits. I also have an awesome bff and this summer it's been 10 years since we first met :)

- Candy. I love candy. Like for reals.

- DIY. I like making stuff, and having unique things :)

- Eskil. The future name of my pet 8)

- Felines. I love cats. Even more than candy. (zomg is that even possible lol)

- Gladiator. It's my favorite movie.

- Helga. It's my name lol.

- Iceland. Got 50% icelandic DNA.

- Jokes. I like 'em.

- Kaneshiro. The first serious char in WoW. Night Elf hunter, represent!

- Left. Has always been my direction.

- Moving. I've moved 11 times in my life, geez louise!

- Nerd. I consider myself one. But a cool one at that! ;)

- Orange. It's my second favorite color, after red.

- Parents. Mine are cool.

- Quack!

- Rabbit. One day, I shall have one. Or possibly two! And they will be so cute and cuddly :>

- Sweden. Is where it's at. And to tie this with my third line, swedish candy is the best so I guess I'm here for life.

- Tea. I enjoy a cup of tea in the morning (and the rest of the day lol) but the best cups are the ones with friends and a nice cake fresh out of the oven :)

- Uganda. I went there in 2007 with my school and it was a really cool experience.

- Very hard. As in this list...

- World of Warcraft. My account is over six years old. And although I rarely play anymore I don't see my account going anywhere anytime soon.

- X to the Z Xzibit?

- Yarn. I heart it!

- Zombies. I'm fascinated and also afraid of zombies. I like thinking about survival tactics and what it would be like lol. Yes I'm weird! But I know I'm not alone ;) I prefer reading about them since that's less scary than movies.

I was tagged by Theodora for a pretty extensive tag :P I'm supposed to tag 11 people and come up with new questions for them but I have no idea who's already been tagged so I'm gonna cheat and just say that I'm tagging everyone who hasn't done this one. Consider yourselves tagged! If you want to know the proper rules here they are.

First I'm supposed to list 11 facts about myself (yikes!)

1. If anyone has missed it, I love cats! Like, a lot.
2. While writing this post I'm also playing WoW 8)
3. I'm afraid of zombies, but I also really like them. It's weird lol. I often say "I should learn how to do that if there's a zombie invasion" and stuff to that effect. Like learning to drive lol.
4. My hair length (before I cut it at least) is the longest I've ever had.
5. I've been in love for 3,5 years.
6. I love food. Eating it, talking about it, thinking about it, making it. You name it ;)
7. My favorite tv-show is Oz. But the one I quote the most and grew up with is the Simpsons.
8. Speaking of such, the movie I quote the most is Men In Tights. Or perhaps The Party. They're awesome.
9. My favorite color is red, after that it's orange. Also I really love rainbows :>
10. I think all of my hair is my natural color now which has taken me a while. I colored it all the time between about 2002-03 until 2008. Now I like it the way it is :)
11. I had a hard time coming up with facts about myself lol.

And then there were 11 questions to answer about myself

1. Do you have a set up for taking pictures, if so what is it?
   No, not really. I hold the bottle and try a few different lightings. If there's sun out I take some in the window as well.
2. How often do you give yourself a manicure?
   I change the whole mani every 2 or 3 days I think. Sometimes I change it up without removing it by adding something with tape or sponging.
3. Do you share or talk about your blog with people in your life/in public to people?
   Only to the bf :S I don't know why but I like having it to myself. A bit weird perhaps :P
4. What was the first blog you started reading - did you realize how many nail bloggers there were?
   It was a swedish blog called Lillasysters naglar but I can't read it anymore since there is a PW now. I think the second one was Nailtastic and then I snooped around on her blogroll to find other blogs. Then I found Colette on youtube I was pretty much hooked. I mean she made a double rainbow water marble. How awesome is that! ;) That's how I got into watching videos as well :)
5. How long have you been into nails?
   I've always liked painting my nails but I haven't always done it. Freakishly into nails I've been since around summer 2010.
6. What's your biggest tip for nail beginners - if you are one, what is the hardest problem you have that is the most frustrating?
   Well I'm not an expert or anything but I think the most important thing is to have fun :) What I find frustrating is when the nails peel of layers. But I'm kind of lazy when it comes to nail care so I don't really do anything about it lol.
7. Do you prefer long or short nails?
   It varies. When I have long nails I love it! And when I take them down I love that too :P I'm easy to please it seems lol.
8. What's one nail polish you never get bored of wearing?
   Hmm.. Well I don't know if I have a specific one but a red shimmer I guess. Or just shimmers in general. Love me some of those! ;) Or holos. This was a tough question!
   
9.  What brand of nail polish do you want to try but haven't gotten the chance to get a bottle or don't want to pay the money for?
   I agree with Theodora and say Nfu-Oh! They are gorgeous and omg the bottle. Also I'd like to try some Glitter Gal and Nubar.
10. How many bottles of nail polish do you have, do you think it's a crazy amount?
    146 if I didn't count wrong. Well... It's kind of crazy. It's a lot if you compare it with a non-polish crazy person but little if I compare to other bloggers lol. But I wouldn't buy anything I don't think I'll really like just to have them so I'm okay with it :) (I should be since I have some nail mail on the way lol)
11. Do you like the nail art with all the rhinestone, pearls and acrylic pieces covering your nails?
    Well, I've never done anything like that. But I've had a few of them on. I should do something like that again. I love the look of bullion beads!

And now for Theodoras questions!

1. What are your other hobbies, besides nail polish and doing your nails?
   Yarn! Knitting and crocheting. And I guess WoW is a hobby as well :) I'm gonna learn how to sew as well :)
2. What is your favorite nail polish color?
   I don't know if I have one in particular, but the color I have the most of is blue for some reason :P
3. What or who started your nail polish addiction/obsession?
   I blame the internet! ;)
4. What nail polish trend do you love/hate?
   Hmm... Well holos have come back and I like that :) One thing I don't like is acrylic french manicures where there's too much white. I'm sorry but I think it looks bad.
5. Do you also paint the nails of others, like friends/family?
   I have done that on occasion but it's not something I do often.
6. Where do you buy most of your nail polish?
   On the internet. Nailsupplies is the one I've bought from the most I think. In a store it's probably H&M.
7. Stamping or free hand nail art - what's your favorite?
   I'm not very good at either but I really should stamp more!
8. Would you ever give up your entire collection of nail polish?
   Not without a fight lol.
9. Where would you like to live? And why?
   I like living in Sweden :) But if I were to move I guess somewhere a little warmer, since it's pretty cold here sometimes :P
10. What's your best feature?
    I don't know if this is meant to be for my looks or my personality? But I asked the bf for some inspiration and he said that he really likes my hair :) I already kind of answered this question in another tag. But if I go with something from the inside there will be an answer to both perspectives lol. I think the best feature of my personality is that I care about other people.
11. What's your biggest dream?
    To be a social worker (and to have cats some day!). And lucky me I'm on my way there (to being a social worker at least) and if all goes well I'll be done in 1,5 years :) Also, to own all my lemmings lol.

Another tag.

I read this tag over at Kayla Shevonne http://kaylashevonnebeauty.blogspot.com/2011/08/tag-post-15-weird-facts.html and thought it was fun. So today will be a nail free post :O

1. What's a nickname only your family calls you?
They have different names for me actually. One is Dockan (The doll) which my dad used to call me when I was little because he thought I looked like a doll. And then a lot of others, my dad is really good at giving nick names :D

2. What's a weird habit of yours?
When I'm alone in the laundry room in the basement I always think of zombies and scare myself lol. I hate being down there alone! I often think about what it would be like if there was a zombie attack. Too many books and movies for me!

3. Do you have any weird phobias?
I'm afraid of dolls. Like big ones that are supposed to look real. And the ones in stores.

4. What's a song you secretly love to blast and belt out when you're alone?
Tina Turner - Goldeneye. Altho it's not really a secret because I've belted it out together with the roomie as well. You should try it sometime!

Greed. If that can be called a pet peeve. Anyways I have so many lol.

6. What's one of your nervous habits?
Hmm.. I don't really know. Depends on what I'm nervous about. Sometimes I get really warm.

7. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
The right side.

8. What was your first stuffed animal and its name?
A white and pink bear called Ninnitinn. I got her from my cousins, who lived in the US at the time, when I was born.

9. What's the drink you always order at Starbucks?
Yeah I live in Sweden ;) I usually order water or soda when I go to places like that.

10. What's a beauty rule you always preach, but never actually practice?
I don't think I have any beauty rules.. O.o At least not any that I preach but don't practice.

11. Which way do you face in the shower?
Both. But not at the same time ;p

12. Do you have any weird body skills?
I can open bottle caps (I think that's what you call 'em) with my teeth but I'm not allowed to lol.

13. What's your favorite comfort food that's "bad", but you love to eat anyway?
Candy? I love candy. That's not really food but if I'm down it's what I'll want! :p

14. What's a phrase or exclamation you always say?
Hmm.. I usually get some phrase stuck in my head and say it for a month but if it is a word I always use then hm.. Probably my favorite adjective: fett. Lol. It means fat. But probably more like phat ;p

15. Time to sleep - what are you actually wearing?
Nothing, that's the comfiest. Altho sometimes if I'm cold I'll wear socks.

Mani and award.

For today I have an old mani. It came to be in the same way the blue holo did. I wanted some more use out of it!

Make Up Store Britta and Depend 165. (I think, the numbers on my Depend bottles like to smudge themselves..) I think this was the first time I tried to do something more with tape than just a straight line. I was very pleased with it :)

Also Theodora from http://redhairandblacknailpolish.blogspot.com gave me an award which I thought would be fun to do! (always nice to do something while waiting for polish to dry ;)

I thought about this yesterday, the cosmetics that is. I don't really wear make up, unless I'm going out to a party or something. But I guess I can list beauty products as a whole and see how many I get lol.

 

1. Brow & Liner Kit from The Body Shop - This is my everyday make up = eyebrows! My eyebrows really need filling in to like.. appear :P and when I found this I was very happy. I've never been able to use a pen, it just looks really weird on me. Love this!

2. Body Butter from The Body Shop - Mmm, they smell good. I use it everyday. My current one is Satsuma, it has quite a strong smell albeit a good one. I have another one in store (I got 2 of them for my b-day) which is Pink Grapefruit.

3. Ocean Mist from Proffs - Salt water spray for my hairz. Good for bad hair days!

4. Seche Vite - I don't know how I managed without you for so long!

5-10. Nailpolish. Haha.

What makes you mad? Racism, cruelty to animals. Makes my blood boil.

When you’re upset you… Depends on what I'm upset about. Scream, don't say anything, cry, or maybe all of the above :p

Black or white? Depends on what you're gonna use it for. If it's an animal I'd say black. On my nails it would be white since it's nice as a base for nail art :p
Your biggest fear is? Well the regular stuff I guess but my phobia is dolls. Boooh!

Your best feature is? If it's feature as in my looks I think my lips, or my shoulders. Haha :) If it's feature as in my personality I think it's that I don't want anyone to feel left out.

Everyday attitude: Well haha, "everything will be alright". In swedish ofc, det ordnar sig! I say this all the time, usually when I have an exam or something and it always is alright in the end. Haha. Also it's a good excuse for not studying that much... Oops!

7 random facts about moi

1. I've lived in 6 cities in 2 countries; Sweden and Canada.

2. I lived with the cat mentioned above for 17 of my 23 years. She was the cat love of my life and I still miss her every day. 

 

3. I have 3 older sisters.

4. I was a redhead for many years, now I've had my real hair color for over 2 years and I actually like it again! Altho looking at this pic makes me understand why I had it for so many years! Pic is 3 years old.

 5. I've been playing World of Warcraft on and off for 5 years. 

6. My favorite movie is Gladiator. I've seen it like 30 times or so.

7. I listen to 2pac all the time. Hit 'em up!
