B-day mani!

My birthday was yesterday (I'm 24 now zomg) but I didn't turn on the computer so I'm posting it today instead :) I had a cosy evening at home with the bf. We made a nice dinner and dessert and watched Fringe. And he told me what I'll be getting. I get to pick out five A-England polishes :O Woho! He is pretty awesome that one for coming up with the idea and everything :) He really listens to all my nail polish babbling (which recently consisted a lot of the Legends) :D So sweet.

B-day mani! One coat of China Glaze - Life Preserver, striping tape and a coat of MNY - 665, a little rhinestone and SV.

I really liked this mani :) Also, winter? Can you leave and take my frazzle dazzle cuticles with you? Thanks in advance.

Sponging and stamping.

Here is what I did with that pretty blue green polish the other day. I wanted to do a gradient. And when that was done I thought I should stamp over it since I never use my plates. I need more practise!

The middle blue is China Glaze - Frostbite and the darkest blue at the tips is MNY - 665. I then stamped over it using m64 and China Glaze - Cherish. Too bad it only looked silver :/

I don't know if I've mentioned that I use my bf's camera for my nail photos. This week he bought a new lens and these were the first nail pics taken with it. It takes some getting used to but I can really zoom in on the nails. Now I have to do them perfectly lol.

With flash. I liked this look and it got some compliments in school as well :) It only lasted a day tho lol. My stamping needs some more practise so I have to remember to do that more often!

I've been thinking about maybe doing the 31 day challenge... I can't finish it in 31 days, especially since Christmas is coming up but it seems like so much fun! Hmm....

Heavy metal.

This pix are a couple of weeks old. I was going to do a metallic theme but realised I need more metallics in non-metal colors for that. So I'm just going to post two of the manis today and the third one tomorrow.

Metal gradient. The copper by itself looked awful to my skintone Good thing I added :P It's MNY - 461. The middle is Victoria's Secret - Lovelight and the silver is Depend - 223.

Since I am a sucker for gradients I liked this one :)

The next one is a water marble that I unfortunately didn't get good photos of. It was done with the same copper and silver plus blue Depend - 247 and green 225.

Photographing the other hand with a big camera is really hard :P This marble was ridge-erific. Next time I do a metallic water marble I'll have some nice underwear lol. It was pretty and aquatic at least.

Today I have school all day but then it's weeeekend :) Yey!

I was going to post something else today but the bf took the camera with him and I forgot to get the photos out of it. Anywho that's probably nice since I can post these old ones :P According to the photos I did this 2 months ago but it feels longer. Hmm. Didn't take a lot of photos of this since it was before I started blogging. But you get the idea :)

Base is China Glaze - Snow. The gold is MNY - 461. The blue (that kinda looks black) is MNY - 665 and I think the green is China Glaze - Emerald Fitzgerald.

Look it's mah right hand! :O

This mani is fun. I should definitely do it again with some other colors :) Yesterday I had to be in school with really wrinkly nails. It was awful. Haha.

Taking a tiny trip

Hellu! Today me, the bf, the roomie and 3 other friends are going camping. Just one night but I think it'll be a lot of fun :) We're gonna eat some bbq and just have a good time together :)

Todays pic is another old one, I figured I'd get the old pics out of the way. This was the second or third water marble I did with a coat of CG Snow under it and Liquid Leather, Branding Iron and MNY 461 for the marbling.

I liked the thumb and index on the upper picture the most because it reminds me of candy with raspberry & liqourice taste 8) Also water marbling is what my bf suggests when I ask him what I should do with my nails, it's his favourite :)
