Här kommer lite nail art jag gjorde en söndagsförmiddag. Det kändes som att jag gjort den förut men det är kanske för att den påminner lite om denna.

 Jag målade på lite svarta moln. Basfärgen är A England - Sleeping Palace och det svarta är Camelot från samma märke (som vanligt hehe). Och så ett lager Seche Vite top coat på det.

Typiskt bra sätt att slippa ta bort nagellack ett par dagar till ;)

Jag kollade i mitt arkiv för att se om jag hade bloggat om en manikyr eller inte. Vilket jag hade. Och den senaste nail arten publicerade jag i... februari! Den här bloggen har ju inte handlat så mycket om naglar på ett tag för jag har inte haft så stor lust till det. Men! De senaste veckorna har mina naglar varit hårda som tusan och jag har låtit dem växa ut för skojs skull. Typ för att se hur långa de blir innan nån nagel går av. Haha. Känns det igen från mitt fedelånga hår? (Kom precis på att det var ju en bra idé till kommande inlägg - hår update!) :) Hur som helst! Helt plötsligt var det roligt med nagellack igen :) Så jag har haft målade naglar några veckor nu. Och så rotade jag lite i mappen och tänkte what the heck jag lägger upp de två andra manikyrerna jag hittade.

Skulle tro att det undre lagret är H&M - 70's Boho. Sen lite molnaktig layering med Isadora - Spellbound Black.

En sån där klassisk manikyr. För mig iaf :P Om jag inte är helt ute och cyklar (så här går det när en väntar 4 månader med att publicera haha) så är det undre lagret A England - Fated Prince. Sen lite hålförstärkar-stickers och A England - Bridal Veil. + Seche Vite top coat misstänker jag :P Och kan vi ta en sekund och begrunda det faktum att A England har 3 (!!!) kollektioner som jag inte har ett endaste lack ifrån. Buuuh. :(

Och här är då det jag faktiskt gjorde idag! Igår kollade jag igenom arkivet för att hitta inspiration. Det blev denna. Tycker det är fint med ljust på långa naglar :) Två lager H&M - On Ice och så lite A England - Merlin som jag duttade på tipparna. Och ett lager Seche Vite. Fint! :)

Tänker att den nya nagelkvaliteten kanske hänger ihop med att jag äter lite annorlunda nu för tiden. Mer frukt och grönt och inte så mycket animaliskt. Så massor av nyttigheter och vitaminer och grejer. Kanske kanske! Kul hur som helst :)

Two old manis that were never published. And a new one! :) I've been painting my nails recently. It's fun having long and strong nails. We'll see how it goes :)

Holo criss cross.

En plötslig inspiration i helgen och så lite roligare naglar för första gången på länge!

Basen är två lager A England - Briarwood. På högerhanden hade jag tävling med 5 olika A Englands för att se vilken jag gillade bäst :p Från lillfingret och fram: Fated Prince, Saint George, Sleeping Palace, Camelot och Bridal Veil på tummen. Jämn match!

Men bestämde mig till sist för Camelot. Och kryss lite högre upp.

A bunch of A Englands in this mani. Base is two coats of Briarwood. On the right hand I tried out 5 different ones before I landed on Camelot for the left hand. Polishes used on the right hand (from pinky to thumb) were Fated Prince, Saint George, Sleeping Palace, Camelot and Bridal Veil.

This nail art contains my two favorite polishes of 2013 (first pic).

I started out with one coat of China Glaze - Stella (should've done two coats but you know.. time) and slapped on some regular tape and Sephora - Any Way Any Where. This polish baffles me every time. Makes a true polish nerd outta me! ;) I shall be sad to see it go. This pic also contains a tie dyed sweater that I realised hasn't been on the blog! :O

Some more tape and A England - Camelot + SV. Pretty cool!

Finally some striping tape.

I haven't used striping tape in a while. Haven't used much at all nail arty the last couple of months but all of that is about to change! ;) Here's the first nail art of 2014!

 This is one coat of A England - Dragon (which is so pretty!) and striping tape + A England - Bridal Veil. And a coat of SV to smooth it all out.

If someone asked me why 75% (probably) of my nail arts include A England I could just show them this pic.

The gorgeous semi matte shimmer fest is Sephora - Any way any where (WHY IS IT A MINI BOTTLE????) and the black is A England - Camelot.

This Sephora is a true staring polish. So purdy.

Let's see if I still remember how to do this... :P Here's a swatch and some easy peasy nail art!

 This is two coats of No 7 - Cruising. Easy application and drying time was pretty fast. I like the brush, made the polishing easy. I got this polish as a gift from G, first from this brand :) It's a lot darker IRL tho, these kinds of shades are hard to photograph...

Then I was like "wazzup A England??" and added hole reinforcers and Bridal Veil.

I'm a bit rusty at this non-scenic-awesome-icelandic-nature-photographing. I'll have to practise with more nails soon!

I had two days off work last week and I was all
must. paint. nails.

 I was short for time the first day and needed a quick drying one coater. I chose H&M - Miss Stone Heart. This grey is awesome! The second day I added a coat of China Glaze - White Cap. A magical combo previously worn here. Since I wanted nail art I added hole reinforcers and Miss Stone Heart again except on the ring finger which is A England - Bridal Veil + SV.

Purdy!

I'm kind of looking forward to the next day off lol. And next week I'm actually free the whole weekend zomg! Will need some festive nails then as we're off to a wedding :)

The purple is two coats of Milani - Hi-Res, then I used hole reinforcers and striping tape and added A England - Bridal Veil and Camelot. Bling on some rhinestones, SV and done!

The glitter is two coats of Sally Hansen - Glitz Gal. Then I added hole reinforcers and A England - Bridal Veil + SV. Sunlight.

I had some time and energy this weekend and made some nail art. Finally.

The base is two coats of A England - Lady of the Lake. Then I added two hole reinforcers per nail and A England - Camelot + SV.

And we had sun all weekend :) I like this shape and that it's made from hole reinforcers, which are so easy to use! I already made another mani like this with different polishes :]

Here's a mani from this week. I have to say, I really recommend hole reinforcers! They stick to the nail better than regular tape. And they save time since they're already cut up and ready to go!

I started with one coat of A England - Dragon, then added hole reinforcers for a slanted half moon and Saint George.

On my right hand I added Bridal Veil as well but that was a bit too dark. I should try this again with other colors. Look at that purdy bling tho.

This is one coat of Sally Hansen - Grass Slipper, hole reinforcer tape and A England - Camelot + SV.

I've been really feeling the loud nails lately. Also, this really looked plastic which I thought was a bit fun. I should do more creme manis! At least if they are as easy to work with as these two :)

I got a lot of polishes from G this christmas, and all of them (minus one) were new to me brands. Here's the first two!

This is two coats of Azadé - Chic Plum. It looks a bit streaky in the pics but it was okay IRL. Easy to apply and it dried pretty fast. The color is a reddish brown with coppery shimmer. And the finish is glass fleck (I think?).

This is two (or three, I don't remember) coats of Azadé - R119. This is also glass fleck I think. Black base with flecks in silver. Pretty!

Here's another mani attempting to be christmassy :p

I started out with two coats of A England - Perceval (it's like christmas in a bottle yes?) then I taped my tips off with hole reinforcers and added H&M - Kiss Goodnight + SV. Also, I've bumped almost all manis recently, whaddup? o.O

I think Perceval is definitely going to be this months most used polish :>

Also, the bf went to India yesterday with his family. He's going to be away for three weeks and ofc brought his camera. I did stock up on material before he went so there will still be posts.

(Yes, I already miss that boy!)

Party nails.

I was going to a party and felt like doing something fun with my nails. I was going for tape but couldn't decide on what kind. So I present to you: tape skittles! :)

 The base color is A England - Princess Sabra and then I added tape and A England - Bridal Veil. Topped it off with some SV as usual.

I used striping tape (thumb and middle), regular tape (index and ring) and hole reinforcers (pinky).

I need to wear the thumb design in christmassy colors soon! :D

Here's another take on this mani. I really liked the old one but I think this one is slightly cooler!

The red is A England - Perceval and the black is A England - Bridal Veil. Striping tape and some black rhinestones with Seche Vite to smooth everything out!

It makes me think of some super villain lol.

After I did the blueish gradient I got a better idea so that one only stayed on for an hour or so lol.

Behold!

I started out with two coats of China Glaze - Snow on the index, middle and pinky. Then I sponged on China Glaze - Liquid Leather and E.L.F. - White so I got a bit of a gradient. The thumb and ring have two coats of China Glaze - Some Like It Haute. SV on all of 'em.

This was a preeetty cool mani if I may say so myself, but it looked cooler IRL. Ah well.

I thought I'd do a mani post in between my photo posts about Scotland. Here's a mani I had on before my vacation started.

Well whaddya know, it's A England and tape ;) The silver glitter is Merlin, two coats. It could have been another coat but I was a bit short for time. Then I added tape and a coat of Bridal Veil and some SV. This mani was a real party mani IMO :) A few dots and it could've been a tuxedo mani ;P

Another day, another tape mani... ;)

The first color (closest to my cuticles) is Milani - Hi-Tech. I then taped it off and added Color Club - Emerald Depths. Which looked more green over the holo than it really is. Last but not least, the black is A England - Bridal Veil. Plus SV of course.

I was a bit lazy on the other hand, but I think it looks nice as well :)
