Leopard rerun kinda.

I was browsing my nail art lable the other day and got in the mood for a neon leopard. It's kind of the only kind I do. If it's not neon it's some other really bright colorful combo. This is like the non identical twin of this mani.

 The base is two coats of China Glaze - Surfin' For Boys (which doesn't match my skin color and makes it perfect for covering :P). The spots are China Glaze - Stella and the black is A England - Camelot. And some SV to smooth it out.

Macro shimmer!

I don't really buy polish that much anymore but if I place an order it will contain some more polishes from this collection. Drool!

Here's a mani loosely inspired by this one from The Nailasaurus, and colorwise from a mani I saw like 2 years ago but have no idea what that blog was called... Anyways! :p

The base is one coat of China Glaze - Riveting (which I would've added a second to if I wasn't going to cover it) then I added striping tape and A England - Ascalon + SV. I think I like the index and ring finger designs best :)

Coincidentally I got this polish from G for christmas which is really similar to Riveting. I guess we have the same taste :) This is two coats of Sephora - Sunrise on the Moon. Sadly, these kinds of red orange make my winter pale skin look even paler. So nail art is kind of a must!

I've been keeping to my trying to make more nail art the past couple of weeks :)

Orange and purple shimmer.

I felt like doing a tape mani over the pretty orange.

The orange is Wet n Wild - 9.0.2.1.Orange and the purple is Orly - Rococo A Go-Go. I used hole reinforcers and striping tape as well. Oh, and SV you know. The downside of tape manis the day after when you don't cover the tip completely is you get a gap. Ah well :p

These pics don't do this mani justice at all. I blame the crappy weather! These polishes were kinda made for each other. True story.

Here's a cool polish I got from New York :)

This is three coats of Wet n Wild - 9.0.2.1.Orange + SV. Love the name lol! Also this polish is really pretty. It's orange with golden shimmer.

Since there is no sun for the most part I took a pic under a lamp to try and show you the pretty shimmer a bit better. It really glows :)

G sure knows how to pick 'em!

I felt like giving some love to an old polish.

I added striping tape and China Glaze - Foxy over Life Preserver + SV. Sunlight for once!

With flash. I liked the ring and pinkie best.

This is two coats of China Glaze - Life Preserver. It's a rusty orange. Nice formula, dries fast.

In sunlight. I like it. It's a soothing color :)

One coat of Barry M - Nail Effects 311 over Color Club - Koo-Koo Cachoo + SV.

I hope you all had a nice Midsommar-weekend. Unfortunately I got a bit of a cold so I stayed home. But at least I had an extra day off to get better.

This is an old mani but I haven't done any midsommar-nails yet. It's bright and fun at least :)

This is two (I think) coats of Color Club - Koo-Koo Cachoo. I remember it to be of a pleasant formula. It's a really nice orange neon!

I like this pic because it shows some of the glowyness! :) Why don't I wear neons more often?

This is the last polish that I got from G.

This is three coats of Gabrini - M 113. This one had a more troublesome formula. It felt like a pastel polish. But the color is really pretty! And the streakyness wasn't all that visible.

Here's a weird pic to show the color more accurately. It wasn't as bright as in the first pic.

Orange leopard.

I wanted to do some nail art since I hadn't in a while and decided on leopard print.

The base is the polish from the previous post. The red dots are Color Club - P Is For Pride (I think since I have no label) and the black is A England - Bridal Veil + SV to smooth everything out. The sales clerk at H&M gave me a compliment for these nails, that's always fun :)

Orange creme.

I found this polish at my grocery store (Maxi) in a bin with some lipsticks. They were 2 for 20 SEK. How could I resist? I bought this one, since I felt an orange creme this shade could live in my stash lol, and a red lipstick which I haven't tried yet.

I've never seen this brand before, guessing it's new? At least to my store. This is two coats of Nordic Cap of Sweden (I guess that's the name?) - NP07. Hilarious name.. Also it's in really tiny writing so I didn't find it first :P The ingredients are listed on the back which is nice. Application and drying time were okay.

I'll post some nail art tomorrow :)

This is three or four coats of China Glaze - Sun Worshipper from the Poolside collection. A crazy light neon orange. Awesome for summer. Oh and really hard to photograph properly :p

Four or five (-.-) coats of China Glaze - Towel Boy Toy (lol) also from the Poolside collection. (I might need them all..) This is a really pretty blue neon with a little shimmer in it.

Application was easy and it dries pretty fast so it's not a disaster you have to have so many coats :p

This is three coats of China Glaze - From Reggae To Riches. It's a purplish pink with blue shimmer.

The shimmer is what makes the polish I think.

This weekend I did a water marble :)

I painted two coats of Gosh - Orange Drops, but I should've gone with a more opaque polish.. The I marbled with CG - Lighthouse & High Hopes and SOPI - Note To Self.

As always some nails turn out better than other. Also this should've been a summer mani since the orange made me look paler.

New achievement!

This was a new achievement, maybe 10 points. Yes, I have been damaged for good by World of Warcraft. Lol. But anyways I'm really excited about this one. It's on my nails as I type this since I couldn't wait to post it :) And I've had it on for 2 days :O Hehe.

My first attempt at leopard nails. I must say I am pleased :) It wasn't that hard to paint the right hand either. Photo taken by bf :*

I followed Rebeccas tutorial which made it very easy :)

Oh and the colors used are Color Club - Amp'd Up for the base, Power Play for the spots and China Glaze - Liquid Leather for the black stuff + SV. Now I want to do this with every color combination ;D

And a simple swatch of Amp'd Up, two or three coats. It was a bit streaky but that didn't really show up in the photos so that's nice :P

Kind of gradient.

We all had a really good time at our friends house. The crayfish messed up my mani so there are no photos of it :p I'll have to wear the polish again so there will be pics of it. Since today is laundry day I'm going to wait until we're done before I paint my nails but I have a mani from a couple of weeks ago so I have something to post 8) I was feeling in the mood for colors and thought I'd try sponging a gradient. The colors aren't that similar but it turned out pretty fun at least.

The colors used are CG - Sun Worshipper, Kiwi Coolada and Towel Boy Toy.

Tomorrow is school time again. I'll start my 4th semester on my education. I'm excited but ofc I will be missing sleeping late ;)
