CG - Light As Air

This was the last of my latest CGs to be tested. I liked it when it was on my nails but the application wasn't as fun. I think this was two coats. Now that I'm a bit more tan I sometimes think pastels make my cuticles look dirty. Haha. Yeye not that much.

It's a very relaxed and flattering color at least.

A fail and a win.

When I got back from Turkey I was itching for something new and non-chipped on my nails. I decided to try H&Ms Moody Model since I hadn't used it yet. Sadly I didn't really like it. I thought the application was a bit weird (maybe I was a little bit rusty since I hadn't painted my nails in a week but aaaanywho...). The first layer was a bit streaky and transparent. I did two coats. SV leveled it out but I decided to tape it out a bit with China Glaze Cherish. I didn't do any clean up or anything because it didn't stay on long. Anyways here it is.

So the next day we were going out with some friends and I was going to repaint them. My outfit was all black which is really weird for me (hello, I like rainbows) and I thought I should have a bright color on my nails at least. But when I chose I went for another dark greenish polish. MNY 761 that I got from my roomie :) I really liked it!

This is two coats with SV. It went on really easy (no clean up this time either) :) A nice dark shimmery green.

Also, thanks to Honi and this tutorial http://honi.blogg.se/2011/august/tutorial-pretty-reckless.html I had make up on that I really liked! :) It was an easy way for a make up noob like myself to get a look that wasn't just some eye shadow on the lid and mascara. Yey! I will probably do it again and again :)

From a distance it looked like I had fake lashes, pretty cool. Ignore my clumsy lashes tho, haha.

Now I'm going to remove this polish and try something else :)

Home again.

Hellu! I'm home again after a week in Turkey with my bf. We had a great time altho it was reeeaally hot. One time when we checked it was 47 degrees C (couldn't find the little circle on my keyboard, where are you?). Anywho. Kind of weird coming to a place that is 30 degrees colder just like that. I still hope we have some nice swedish summer weather left before school starts again!

I'll post some pix tomorrow or later today I think. Today I'm going to the gym to try Yoga for the first time :O I hope I like it.
And since I like pix and wouldn't mind eating some I'm posting a pic of some home made sushi!

Vacation.

Hellu!
Tomorrow me and the bf are going on vacation. I was going to paint my nails with some light color so it wouldn't be so obvious when it started chipping. I had already decided to wear CG - Light As Air but then the bf suggested I should wear a holo since we're gonna be in the sun. Of course I should wear something holo! Silly me :p So Gosh - Holographic is coming with my nails to vacation! :) I cut my nails for convinience and since I'm not used to painting short nails it's a bit sloppy 8) Aaanywho, pix!

Two coats over Depend - 223 (silver).

My index finger looks all ragged from the tie dye I did earlier this week. I should post some pix of that when I get back home. It was fun :)

Recycled mani.

I managed to keep the previous mani for three days. I probably could've kept it a day or two longer but I got some things from my grandfather and one of those was a candlestick which needed a good clean. I used wire wool (according to the intarwebs that's what ya call it, svinto in swedish ofc! ;)) and my polish didn't really like that. The nice part was that the Yin&Yang stayed okay so I wanted to keep them a couple of days longer. So yesterday I painted the other fingers with Color Club - Flamboyant. I bought it at a supermarket for 20 SEK, it's a mini bottle.

Two coats plus SV.

Also, I need to practise my photographing skills a bit. Or make someone take my pics for me! Haha.

Triple rainbow!

Hellu! I was going to post pics from my recent water marble but the photos didn't come out that good so I'll save it for when I don't have anything else to post. Because today I really do have something to post! This is a mani I did yesterday and it's the nicest mani I've done so far :) I'm really going to struggle not to remove it too soon. As you know that's hard sometimes hehe ;) This is also the first time I've done a matching pedi :O

It wasn't really hard but with practise I think it will look even better!

The rainbows are sponged and I could've gone over them one more time. Ah well :p

Toes! I'm not a zebra irl. This photo is kinda crappy but you get the idea at least. I think it's harder to paint my toes than my fingers. Do you?

Now I'm gonna sit in the park for a while. Tonight I'm going over to my mom to dye some clothes :D

Eeek!

I was going to post some nailz today but the weather is actually nice today so I can't sit inside all day. Since pics are fun I'm just gonna throw in a pic of an outfit I had on a couple of weeks ago. Nail polish isn't the only thing I want in every color of the rainbow... I also love stockings! I don't really like wearing pants, except shorts. But it can look nice so I accepted 2 pairs from the roomie yesterday that she didn't want anymore :p So I guess I'll be wearing some pants come fall :O

These are my favorite ones. How could they not be?
